Help me please!

Jan 6, 2006 1:00 PM by Discussion: DesktopX
A couple questions:

Where did this plugin originally come from?
Who made it?
Is it a plugin shipped with DX?
Is there any documentation on it?

I've checked the forums and can only find one reference to it by FrankieJr (Link)

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated?

I am trying to reach Brncofan7 to collaborate on a widget or at least get in touch with him! If he sees this, or if anyone knows him, could he PM me and give me his contact details so we can chat? Thanks in advance! Jon :CONGRAT:

Why I wish there was a program that could let me (re)organise my start menu > all programs listing easily!

Feb 26, 2005 11:47 PM by Discussion: Customization Software
I have just had to reformat my system due to a hardware rebuild and usual two years of work and play sluggish response. Now that I have finally gotten it back to where I want it to be, all programs, themes, walls, etc., I realised I had forgotten to save my start menu program list that I had customised. All the folders and sections are gone. So I decided that, rather than spend all that time going through the default C:\Documents and Settings sub folders and finding all the program listings for my system and manually placing them into new designations and sub-sections, I would search the web for a program, with a good UI, that would do this for me and enable me to reorganise the list into the "menu of my dreams"!

I was wrong!

No one seems to have done this! Don't get me wrong, I have looked at a lot of programs out there which will allow you to change the look, the actual text of the sections (All Programs, Control Panel, Connect To, etc), even change the tooltip text for each section! But not one will look at the default directories and allow you to create new directories, "drag-n-drop" the original shortcuts, and remove the unwanted listings like links to the website! {usually I have them bookmarked b/c I like them anyway!} I've been to Download.com, Sourceforge.net. Tucows, blah blah blah... to no avail! This is the kind of thing that makes me want to go back to school and learn heavier languages that I didn't get a chance to!

Am I wrong? Should I just bite the bullet and manually do it again? Grrrrrrrrrrrrr! I wish I knew a programmer I could just call up and say "Hey! I got this wonderful idea for a new program! Here's what I want it to do, let's design the look together! Damn Damn Damn!

Oh well, I'll put it off for tonight, go to sleep and wake up tomorrow and do it myself!

Sorry, just needed to vent!

When I click on "Show my watch list" I get the following error:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e14'

Invalid column name 'FirstName'.

/include/incmsgboard.asp, line 66

Anyone else get this? or is it a known prob?
